Energy Bands - A blind way of scamming you.

In case if you haven't heard about these "Energy Bands", you didn't miss much. Basically, if you were to wear these on your arm or simply hold them in your palm, you would be able to have better balance and strength then you did without them. Sounds good, right?

Is it real? Definitely not. At the place that I bought mine, they offered it for $30 and offered to bring the price down if you bought more than one. Online these things were going for $40. WOW!

Basically at many malls, they did tests on you to demonstrate its effect. The trick was that after they did it the second time, you were expecting the same test so you were able to counter it easily. In addition, without the bracelet, they would push you at an angle to where you couldn't resist but fall. Once you put the bracelet on, the guys just put their force straight down, which in turn wouldn't effect you at all.

In recent news, the original creator of these "bracelets" claimed that they had absolutely no use amidst heavy pressure and scrutiny from society. In addition, the creator was sued for false advertisement and lost millions of dollars. Not a smart case, eh?

I took apart an energy bracelet just to prove that nothing in it was magical. The salesman told me that the "ions in the hologram release a magnetic field allowing you to maintain balance." They sure were trained well to sell it. These things probably cost not more than 10 cents to make and were being sold for $40. The hologram was just in fact a sticker. It's nothing more than a LiveStrong wristband but with a sticker. In fact, the Livestrong wristband is so much better because when you buy those you are actually supporting a cause. When you buy these bracelets, you are supporting some guy's pocket. I would point you to their website, http://www.energybalancelife.com, but they seemed to have closed that. If you see these on eBay for $7 or so, do not buy them. They are not worth it and there are plenty of knock offs of these. If you want to have strength, consider exercising. Don't waste your money on any of these bands.

Note: Other products, such as the As Seen On TV iRenew are also on the same boat as this product, except that they have a price tag of $19.99. Below are my pictures that I took throughout the process.

Picture 1
Picture 2
Picture 3
Picture 4
Picture 5
